Helen has extensive experience providing legal and strategic advice on a range of commercial matters including mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring and restructuring, regulatory compliance, financial services licensing, joint ventures, trust and development structures and equity raising.

Helen is regarded for her commercial approach to all matters in which she is involved, providing clients with a wealth of skills in relation to all aspects of transaction management from initial structuring and advice through to due diligence, negotiation and preparation of documentation and, finally, closing the deal.

Helen has acted on behalf of:

• the Clemenger group of companies, in connection with numerous acquisitions and divestments and the restructure of its corporate and business portfolio, as well as in connection with its employee share scheme

• ISPT, in connection with the establishment and re-structure of several funds and the acquisition of interests in various property trusts

• Cbus, in connection with its takeover of the Cumberland Lorne Trust and then in relation to the restructure of its entire property portfolio

• Stem Cell Sciences, in connection with various equity raisings and its expansion into the UK and the US, as well as ongoing advice regarding the exploitation of its intellectual property

• Urbis Pty Ltd, in connection with various acquisitions and corporate restructures
