He also has acted in multi-jurisdictional matters with experience in the Nigerian, British and Dutch legal systems. This work has included obtaining injunctions and search orders prior to issuing proceedings. He also has experience in the management and inspection of large scale electronic discovery and obtaining expert evidence. Ben actively promotes alternative dispute resolution and has successfully run mediations and settlement discussions on behalf of his clients. In 2007 and 2008 Ben advised and represented a Dutch client seeking to recover assets from a previous employee living in Queensland. This case required the seizing of assets and documents, and then involved the insolvency of companies both in Australian and Africa. Since then, Ben has managed and run litigation relating to breaches of the Corporation and Trade Practices Acts, the winding up of a joint venture and the fall-out from Opes Prime.
