Penelope is a commercial litigation lawyer with extensive trial and appellate experience. Her practice includes directors’ duties, Corporations Act disputes, insolvency, breach of trust, general contractual disputes, joint ventures, banking and fi nance litigation, shareholder disputes, Trade Practices, copyright, insurance, professional negligence and regulatory investigations. She has acted in multi-party matters and in third party funded litigation.

This expertise has enabled her to provide strategic advice on all aspects of litigation, corporate compliance, insolvency and dispute resolution and also to do legal problem solving and give general legal risk management advice to her clients. As General Counsel with the Department of State and Regional Development (now DIIRD) for 2 years, Penelope also has signifi cant experience in the workings of Government, investment facilitation, administrative and public law and in the management of multi-stakeholder projects.

Penelope also acts for clients in the resources, manufacturing, automotive, retailing, hospitality, transport and logistics industries.
