Joel Zyngier | Snr Associate | Melbourne

Joel is a Senior Associate practising in the firm’s Employment and Industrial Relations section.  Joel advises and represents public and private sector employers, and executives and managers in all areas of workplace relations, including:

• common law of employment
• awards and enterprise agreements
• employee rights and protections arising under the Fair Work Act
• equal opportunity and discrimination
• occupational health and safety
• coronial inquests

Joel has a strong foundation in dispute resolution.  Prior to joining Holding Redlich, Joel served as an Associate at the (then) Australian Industrial Relations Commission and as a litigation solicitor at a large national commercial law firm.  Joel has gained broad litigation experience at Holding Redlich in small and large scale matters in Fair Work Australia and the Magistrates’, County and Supreme Courts of Victoria, Federal Court of Australia and the Federal Magistrates Court of Australia and VCAT.
