Carolyn is a recognised expert in property development especially the delivery of land subdivision, titling and governance solutions to value-add to a project. Carolyn’s substantial experience includes:

  • acting for developers and property owners on the acquisition, titling, financing and selling of residential and mixed use developments including the co-ordination of sales and providing advice on the initial set-up, management and administration of Strata and Community Schemes (including part strata developments)
  • providing specialist advice regarding the use of management statements (building management statements, strata management statements and hybrid arrangements) in mixed use developments
  • mezzanine debt financing and general property financing
  • corporate real estate acquisitions, development and disposals including sale and leaseback agreements and options
  • providing property related advice in connection with listed and unlisted property funds, creating structures for investment funds and advising on issues relating to real estate funds management
  • agribusiness and rural industries including water law

Two recent projects that Carolyn has been involved in include the award winning Regent Place for Frasers Property Group (2008 Urban Taskforce Australia Development of the Year, 2009 PCA Award for Mixed-Use Development) and The New Rouse Hill for Lend Lease and GPT (2009 PCA Award for Innovation and Excellence, 2008 UDIA High Density Housing award).
