Charles has practised in employment and industrial relations law since 1992. Charles is a former associate to a Senior Deputy President of the Australian Industrial Relations Commission and a former senior adviser to a federal government minister.

Charles has a strong practice representing employers, government agencies, insolvency practitioners and senior executives in all aspects of employment and industrial law.

Charles has developed a strong capacity to identify and reconcile the often diverse and contentious interests of parties to a dispute or transaction arising in a workplace.

Charles Power was named as a leading lawyer in Melbourne in the industry and peer rated guide “The ALB Guide: Employment Law 2009”
