Lucy practices in the Property and Projects Group.

Lucy has experience in a broad range of property related transactions.  Her experience includes acquisitions and disposals of commercial properties; commercial, industrial and retail leasing; licensing and gaming; and foreign investment.  Lucy approaches transactions in a strategic and efficient fashion.

Lucy also has experience in dispute resolution with a particular focus on leasing disputes.  Lucy advises in relation to the termination of leases; recovery of loss following termination; mediation of retail tenancy disputes at the Retail Tenancy Unit; and matters in the Administrative Decisions Tribunal.  

Lucy’s experience includes:

• assisting with the acquisition of a one third interest in the DEXUS 1 Bligh Street, Sydney development for Cbus
• the sale and lease back of Australia Post’s post offices at Mosman, Avalon and Rockdale
• assisting with BlackRock’s sale of Rosemeadow Marketplace
• the successful defence of an application for a new lease in the Administrative Decisions Tribunal for BlackRock
• the application of the development deed scheme at Steel River Eco Industrial Estate to govern the contamination liability between previous and existing owners of the site
