Sonia advises in respect of a wide variety of media and commercial/corporate areas including:

• mergers, joint ventures and acquisitions
• development, production and financing of film and television projects, including international co-productions
• intellectual property protection and exploitation
• trade practices issues
• broadcasting issues

Sonia’s clients include television and radio licensees, film and television production companies, post and digital effects companies, financiers, distributors, advertising agencies, and packaged media manufacturers.

Sonia is an occasional lecturer at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS) and she performs pro bono work as a volunteer lawyer at the Arts Law Centre. She regularly presents seminars in the areas of media and entertainment and also regularly contributes to publications in the areas of media and entertainment.
