Paul is a partner of
the firm’s commercial litigation department and has over 14 years
experience in complex litigation, intellectual property and competition
law issues.
He is an accredited mediator, regularly acting
as mediator in franchising disputes and is a graded arbitrator. He has
successfully mediated many disputes and in particular has mediated
numerous franchising disputes since 2002.
Paul’s work has covered a range of areas
including trade practices law, product liability cases,
telecommunications law, commercial disputes, and intellectual
property. He has acted for a broad range of clients, including
multinational and national companies, small businesses, individuals,
statutory authorities and government.
Paul has written extensively on the subject of
Mediation and his articles on this topic have been printed in
publications such as the New South Wales Law Society Journal,
Franchising Magazine, and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Law
Journal.
Paul has experience acting for clients in the
produce and grocery industry at all levels of the supply chain,
including growers, wholesalers, distributors, marketing bodies and
co-operatives, market owners and retailers.
