Prior to joining Holding Redlich, Vanya worked with a national legal firm and acted for significant energy, mining and localgovernment clients in relation to property matters.

Vanya is an experienced general property lawyer and has acted in a wide variety of matters including:

• acting in relation to the acquisition and disposal of significant commercial, residential and rural properties in NSW, including by
  way of asset and share sale agreements
• drafting “off-the-plan” master contracts for the sale of land
• acting in relation to the subdivision of land, drafting of section 88B instruments and strata by-laws
• acting for a major Australian property developer in relation to the sale “off-the-plan” of residential properties, including the
  management of the exchange and settlement processes involving large numbers of contracts for the sale of land
• assisting in the establishment of community schemes and the drafting of management statements
• advising in relation to the Foreign Investment Review Board aspects of acquisitions and disposals of property
• GST and duty issues affecting property
• water licences
• old system and company title
• drafting loan documentation and acting for lenders and borrowers
• leasing, licensing and residential tenancy agreements
