Holding Redlich announced as a 2020 Employer of Choice for Gender Equality

25 February 20 - Media Release

National commercial law firm Holding Redlich has today been announced as a 2020 Employer of Choice for Gender Equality by the Federal Government’s Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA).

This is the 12th year that Holding Redlich has received the citation and is high level recognition of the policies and practices in place at the firm that are dedicated to improving diversity and gender equality.

A lengthy and detailed submission process is required each year by applicants who must outline and quantify precisely what has been done – and what they intend to do in the future - to further encourage gender equality and diversity in their workplace.

Holding Redlich National Managing Partner Ian Robertson said the WGEA award is very pleasing recognition that the firm is taking the right steps and achieving positive results.

“We are very pleased that Holding Redlich has again received this important, high-level citation,” Ian said.

“The Federal Government requires a rigorous and thorough submission from candidates in order to be considered for this award where we must outline the steps we are taking to stamp out gender inequality and boost diversity at our firm.”

Ian said that Holding Redlich has a suite of policies dedicated to gender equality, pay equity and diversity and he is pleased that these are having a positive impact.
