National law firm Holding Redlich announces the addition of leading health and safety lawyer, Jane Hall, as a Partner in the Melbourne office, expanding the firm’s national Workplace Relations & Safety practice.
Having spent more than 25 years in court rooms and time as an executive in a health and safety regulator, Jane has built a strong reputation for her ability to guide clients from large ASX-listed companies, private enterprises and government organisations through criminal litigation and complex health and safety problems. She is sought after by Boards and leadership teams to help identify and manage health and safety risks, ensure they meet their compliance and safety goals, and protect their license to operate.
“Jane's proven track record and specialist expertise will be invaluable support for our clients to navigate the complexities of health and safety law,” said Holding Redlich's National Head of Workplace Relations & Safety, Charles Power.
“Her extensive experience working with a diverse range of clients will add to the depth of our existing team of more than 20 safety lawyers in Victoria, the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales and Queensland.”
Jane has been consistently recognised in her field by Best Lawyers since 2014 and was their 2020 Lawyer of the Year. She is also named a preeminent practitioner for workplace, health and safety by Doyle’s Guide and has been ranked by Chambers & Partners since 2021.

Jane is currently the Chair for McCormack Housing and Deputy Chair for the Australian Community Support Organisation. She holds a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from the Australian National University.
